Please meet the very handsome boy, Louie.
Louie is looking for new humans to share his life with. His ideal partner/s would be a family that are home quite a bit of the time as he doesn’t like to be on his own much at all. He is a boy who craves human attention, cuddles and more attention.
Louie is looking for a home with older humans, he can be a little jealous so small humans are not his favorite, he is okay sharing his humans with another doggo, but again he can get jealous so it is imperative that he has ongoing positive reinforcement training. He is not a food driven cavvie, but love and attention driven.
He does not like cats or small pocket pets / birds at all, so he is best with a canine only household.
Louie would love to have daily walks and a yard to play in also with very secure fencing and access to the house, or the ability to stay in the house should you not be there. He is not an apartment dog as he does like to chat a little when you leave and if left for long periods of time, will have increased anxiety, so humans who work from home or retired are his idea of heaven.
He is toilet trained but in a new home environment may have a few accidents, so patience and positive reinforcement when he gets it right will make him, and you, very happy.

Louie has a grade 2 heart murmur, no medications are needed at this time but in future years he may need to be on medications such as Vetmedin.
He has also just had a dental and no extractions were needed.
