Lucy came into care with issues with her front leg due to sever arthritis that had been aggravated by a dog attack. She is on the road to recovery, has been desexed, ear infection now clear, we are just waiting on further results from her bone biopsy of her leg to see where we go to with further treatment needs for her.
Strapping senior boy Benny came into care at a whopping 25kg he has been working out hard during lockdown and watching his diet and he has lost over 10% of his body weight which is amazing, he’s learnt to get a run up, not so much a waddle anymore! He will soon be looking for humans to foster him with a view to adopt.
Maddie is still currently in care, almost ready for adoption she was found to have two luxating patellas and she is now booked to have preventative surgery – more on Maddie’s progress soon.
Minnie is a sweet little girl who has EPI, she is a little girl that struggles to keep weight on as her system just struggles. She is in care on speciality food and enzyme supplements and steals every bed or lap she pleases.
Heidi – forever foster / palliative care
Heidi is a senior girl of approximately 15 years young and has a grade 5/6 heart murmur. She is a forever foster with us at Cavalier Rescue.
Bella – forever foster / palliative care
Bella is also a senior girl of approximately 12 years young and
has a grade 5 heart murmur. She is a forever foster with us
at Cavalier Rescue.
