Autumn – No Further Applications

Meet Autumn, she is 6 and a half years young and is looking for the love of her lifetime.

She began her life in not so great surroundings, having a number of babies, but she was retired early and has grown very well into the life of a lady of leisure.

She enjoys a quiet household, with lots of fluffy beds to sleep in, also the human bed is good, or even a fluffy bed, next to the human bed. She is also a very good girl if she is sleeping in a crate in your room also …. mostly she just loves, loves to be with her humans and she shows this with full body wiggles.

She is great with other dogs and would really love a canine friend, most of all she would really love for her humans to either work from home or be retired. She needs very good fencing, farm fencing or wire fencing is not for her, as she really just likes to be around people.

Autumn is good on lead and is okay in the car once she is in although she can be very wary. She is quite the timid girl and does not like raised voices, so a calm relaxed environment would suit her best with some ongoing positive reinforcement training.

She will need help with her toileting, once she is outside, she is more than happy to go, she will also hold on during the night while she is crated, but sometime may have accidents inside as she is still learning … especially in a new environment, she would need lots of support and praise.

If you think you could be Autumn’s forever humans, please read her medical notes below before considering completing an application form, link below.

Medical Notes
Autumn has a grade 4 heart murmur, that is not currently in need of medication but it is something to keep in mind with costs for future heart murmur medications around $120 per month.

Autumn has had a complete dental and has super shiny teefs.

Autumn also has luxating patellas on both back knees, these are not causing her any pain at this stage, but again definitely something to keep in mind as costs for this surgery are not claimable on insurance as they are pre existing issues. She may not need surgery for many years, but it is something to be very aware of.
